Chef in disguise

The Daring Bakers’ February 2012 host was – Lis! Lisa stepped in last minute and challenged us to create a quick bread we could call our own. She supplied us with a base recipe and shared some recipes she loves from various websites and encouraged us to build upon them and create new flavor profile.

First off let me start by clearing up something. When I first started blogging I was really surprised when everyone was calling sweet baked cakes bread! Here all the recipes I am sharing today and others I shared before like this one and this one and oh this one too are all classified as cake! It was very confusing at first to see a recipe baked in a loaf pan,being called bread and then the same recipe baked in a cake pan is called cake!
