Well another invention because of lots of boiled kala chana at home 🙂
It is very simple and the best thing was the texture, you might argue with me but it, was as silky smooth as a kebab.
You shall need: {makes about 12-14 medium size Tikkis]
2 Cup… Boiled Kala chana
1… Medium Size Onion [Chopped finely]
2… Green Chillies [Chopped Finely]
3… Slices of Bread
1.5 Tbsp… Chaat Masala
Salt
2 Tbsp… Crushed Roasted Peanuts
Oil to shallow fry
Method:
- Mash the Boiled kala chana.
- Add the Masalas, onion and chillies.
- In a bowl take some water, dip the breads briefly and take them out.
- Squeeze the excess water and add it to the chana mash.
- Mix it well.
- Oil your palms well and make tikkis out of it.
- In a pan, out a couple of tablespoons of oil and put the tikkis.
- Fry them until they are nice and crisp.
- Serve with Ketchup or chutney.
Cheers
